Mumbai: Maharashtra is the worst affected state of Corona but now the citizens here may get relief in the coming days. In fact, under the recent information, it may be decided to remove the ban from non-essential commodity shops in the State and reopen them. At the same time, more employees can now be arranged in Government offices. Moreover, the train network is unlikely to open to the general public for a few more weeks. Similarly, industrial units may also get exemption. In fact, the Government here is discussing the gradual relaxation of lockdown.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is expected to pronounce a verdict later in the week. Recently, a ministry official has made a statement on the same. He said, "Industrial units may also get some discounts, while the number of employees in government offices can be increased by 15% from the current situation". However, establishments like restaurants, malls, multiplexes will remain closed as they have proved to be superspreaders in the past. 

Let us also inform you that 22,000 new cases have been reported in Maharashtra and 42,320 people have recovered by defeating Corona. The number of deaths due to corona is also declining sharply. In the last 24 hours, 361 people have died of corona. It is also being said that the number of active corona cases has come down to 3,27,580 and the total death toll from corona has also reached 89,212.
