MUMBAI: Maharashtra, the most affected state in the country due to the coronavirus, has been gradually exempted from lockdown. The maximum number of cases are still being reported in the state every day. In such a situation, CM Uddhav Thackeray has warned the people of the state that if they do not follow the restrictions properly then the lockdown can be done again.

The impact of corona has been seen most in Maharashtra. The number of deaths has also been recorded here. So far, more than 94 thousand cases have been reported in the state, out of which more than 3 thousand 4 hundred patients have lost their lives. Meanwhile, CM Uddhav tweeted on Wednesday 10 June, warning that, "If the relaxation in lockdown proves to be dangerous, we will be forced to re-introduce lockdown." However, Uddhav also said that the people of Maharashtra are cooperating with the government and following the rules. Uddhav has also urged people not to gather crowds anywhere.

After the recent lockdown in Maharashtra people suddenly started gathering on Marine Drive, on which people had expressed concern. Addressing the Business Advisory Committee of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Uddhav Thackeray said that the lockdown had to be relaxed only to restore economic activities in the state. Uddhav also told that the State Government has requested the Central Government and Railways to start the local train service called Lifeline of Mumbai.
