'Mahindra and Mahindra' Tractor sales boosted 60 percent

The tractor giant of India, Mahindra Tractors’ reported a 60.88 per cent jump in total tractor sales at 45,177 sales in October 2016. For the record, the last year sales for the same month of the Tractor manufacturer were 28,082 units.

The home grown auto maker even zoomed its exporting sales after they exported 1,351 units this month resulting in 68.66 per cent increase in comparison to last year’s 801 units.

Rajesh Jejurikar, Mahindra and Mahindra’s President and Chief Executive, farm equipment and two wheeler division said, this years rainfall was healthy for the crops and it resulted in increase in the level of water reservoirs. This increase the expectations of better Kharif crop and therefore increase in the demand of the tractor’s.
