The Kapil Sharma Show's upcoming season's cast and new characters were revealed in a brand-new video uploaded by Sony TV on Wednesday. The new season of the comedy series was announced earlier this month, and the previous season concluded in June of this year.

The part of Kappu Sharma will be played by Kapil Sharma. Bindu, his wife, will be portrayed by Sumona Chakravarty. Chandan Prabhakar plays Kappu's friend Chandan, and Gudiya is played by mohalle ki dhoban Kiku Sharda.

The new character Maski, who is the spouse of Kappu's friend Chandan, was first introduced by Kapil Sharma. Sundarda is Kappu's father-in-law, Gharchoddas is ustaad ji, Goli is Kappu's brother-in-law, Roopmati is Kappu's mother-in-law, and Ghazal (Srishty Rode) is the "mohalle ki raunak (locality's splendour)".

For the new season, Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar, and Archana Puran Singh are back. Krushna Abhishek earlier confirmed to Pinkvilla that he won't be returning to the show. He stated: "avoiding it Issues with agreement." Jackie Dada, Dharmendra, and Sapna were just a few of the characters that Krushna had portrayed on the programme. The show's teaser was made public last week. "Kapil Sharma is back with a new season and new reasons to make you laugh," wrote Kapil in his post. On Saturday and Sunday at 9.30 p.m., watch The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV.

In addition to The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil's upcoming projects include Nandita Das' film Zwigato. He plays a food delivery manager in the movie, and Shahana Goswami plays his wife.
