In doing so, four senior leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, have been relieved of the responsibility of the Secretary-General. Now recently, Mallikarjun Kharge lashed out at the party president over the reshuffle in the Congress and said, "Surjewala is a good choice for Karnataka". Actually speaking to journalists, he said, 'I welcome the changes. Randeep Singh Surjewala is a very good person. It is a good option for Karnataka. I welcome him and I think Madam Sonia Gandhi has given a good secretary to the Congress in Karnataka. '

In fact, the Congress leadership has made a major reshuffle in the party organization on Friday and removed Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mallikarjun Kharge, Motilal Vora and Ambika Soni as the General Secretaries of the All India Congress Committee.
