New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today interacted with chief ministers of 10 states and 54 collectors of these states amid the outbreak of the second wave of corona virus across the country. However, no official from West Bengal was present in the meeting. After PM Narendra Modi's meeting, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee held a press conference and levelled allegations against the Central government and PM Modi.

Mamata Banerjee claimed during the press conference that states are not allowed to speak in meetings convened by PM Modi. Mamata Banerjee called upon her counterpart chief ministers to oppose it. According to media reports, CM Mamata Banerjee said why were states called when they were not allowed to speak. All the Chief Ministers should protest if they are not allowed to speak.

The Trinamool Congress supremo claimed that CMs from 10 states were present at the meeting. As CM, when I was in the meeting, I did not allow the District Collector to attend. CM Mamata Banerjee alleged that only some Bjp Chief Ministers and PM Modi have made their point in the meeting. We were not allowed to speak. All the other CMs remained silent. Nobody said anything.
