Kolkata: The Mamata government of West Bengal has been engaged in the exercise to bring back 131 workers from Kashmir. This decision has been taken after the terrorists killed five labourers in Kulgam in Kashmir. This information was given by Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee in an Eco Park on Friday. Banerjee while talking to the press said that '131 workers who went to Kashmir with the help of the state government will be brought back to West Bengal. He hails from Murshidabad, Dinajpur and Malda.

According to sources, the government has started the process of bringing the workers back and two officials have already left for Kashmir. They will be brought back to West Bengal via train. Sources say that the government is planning to send police officers to Kashmir so that proper arrangements can be made for most workers who want to return to their homes in Bengal.

Let us tell you that recently the labourers working in apple orchards were asked to come out of the rented house in Kulgam, after which they were shot and taken to a nearby area. The deceased have been identified as Nayimuddin Sheikh, Murshleem Sheikh, Rafiqul Sheikh, Rafiq Sheikh and Kamaruddin Sheikh. All of them were residents of Bahlanagar village in Sagardighi, Murshidabad.
