Malayalam superstar Mammootty was last seen in Yatra. The movie was based on the life of the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Now, the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Madhura Raja. The action-drama directed by Vysakh is the sequel to 2010-film Pokkiri Raja. Madhura Raja’s makers unveiled the film's trailer which got overwhelming responses from the audience. Going by trailer, the film looks like a full-fledged action-drama with ample commercial elements.

In a scene, Mammuka sends the goons flying in the air and says, 'Raja sollardhu dan seivan. Seiyardhu mattum dan solluvan. (Raja will do what he says. He only says what he does)'. The trailer has clocked in over 20 lakh views in 24 hours with 129 thousand likes and 13 thousand dislikes. It is said, in the upcoming days, the views are expected to increase further.
Sunny Leone has danced to a special song. The movie, directed by Vysakh, has music composed by Gopi Sundar. Produced by Nelson Ipe Cinemas, the film is all set to hit the theatres on April 12 worldwide. Apart from Mammootty, Madhura Raja also features Jai, Mahima Nambiar, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Nedumudi Venu and Salim Kumar in important roles.
