Hansome actor Suriya is all set to begin work on GR Gopinath biopic from tomorrow. Today, a pooja was held for the cast and crew. It is being directed by Sudha Kongara. She made the much-lauded film Irudhi Suttru with R Madhavan. The music of Suriya's film will be scored by actor and composer GV Prakash.

Sudha Kongara is the director of the film, Saala Khadoos. Suriya has also started work on his 37th film that is made by KV Anand. Suriya has just finished work on NGK that also stars Rakul Preet and Sai Pallavi. Aparna Balamurali will paly the female lead. The film is a biopic on the life of Air Deccan founder, Captain Gopinath. She will play the role of Bhargavi, his wife. Guneet Monga is one of the producers of the film. NGK is going to release on May 30 while Kaapaan will come in August.

Composer GV Prakash said that the rock band from Kerala Thaikudam Bridge is collaborating with him for a project. This is his 70th film.He took to Twitter and wrote, “The first collaboration in @Suriya_offl #Suriya38 #GV70 the most popular South Indian band #ThaikudamBridge from Kerala have performed and collaborated for a ROCK number ... lyrics by #arunrajakamaraj ... #SudhaKongara.”
