Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is on a visit to Uttar Pradesh, where on the second day she addressed a joint press conference with Akhilesh Yadav at the Samajwadi Party office. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee launched a scathing attack on the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government. The TMC supremo said history will never forgive those responsible for the Hathras incident, the Unnao case and the bodies dumped in the Ganga in Uttar Pradesh during the Corona period.

Mamata Banerjee further said, "Yogi Ji, where were you when all this was happening? Yogi Ji should apologise to the people of UP.'' TMC supremo further said, "I request all of you to support the Samajwadi Party and make them victorious and defeat the BJP. Don't fall into the trap of false promises made by the BJP.'' CM Mamata said she will also visit Varanasi on March 3.

Mamata Banerjee further said that if the country has to be saved from the BJP today, then we have to support Akhilesh Yadav. Mamata Banerjee also attacked Rahul Gandhi and Asaduddin Owaisi in gestures during this period. "Before the elections, someone sits in Delhi and someone sits in Hyderabad, but as soon as the elections come, they come for votes. Do not waste your votes by voting such people.''
