Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has turned to Prashant Kishore's strategy as an election strategist in the country for the upcoming state assembly elections. Mamata now takes every step in line with the advice of the Prashant Kishore. BJP is all set to put a big dent in Mamata's strong fort in the 2021 assembly elections in the state. TMC leaders said that in this year's Lok Sabha elections, BJP has won 18 seats in 42 seats in West Bengal, just four less than Mamata's party.

This has shattered the myth of Trinamool being invincible. The TMC believes that 'professional help' is needed to face the ideology of the aggressive BJP in the state and improve the image of the party. "With the help of Prashant Kishore, we hope the party will redouble its old success in the assembly," the senior TMC leader said on condition of anonymity. If you have to fight the BJP organised and ideology-driven, you will need a strong ideological siege or an organised structure.

Prashant Kishore is providing this structure. According to TMC and IPAC (Indian Political Affairs Committee) sources, Prashant Kishore, who has been a successful election strategy for JDU's CM Nitish Kumar in Bihar and YSJagan Mohan Reddy of YSRC in Andhra Pradesh, is now a 'discussion on tea' for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014. Trinamool's electoral strategy is on the way. The TMC leader said that as part of the strategy, Mamata and other Trinamool leaders are speaking in limited language and are exercising restraint in attacking the opponents and responding to contentious issues. Political opponents will be allowed to do the programme so as to convey the message that the Trinamool believes in democratic values.
