Meerut: Even after all the efforts of the Centre and the state government, mob lynching incidents are not stopping.  Day-by-day mob lynching is increasing. A shocking case of mob lynching has come to light from the Meerut district of UP. Here, a man was brutally beaten by a mob on suspicion of theft. After which he died. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the family and initiated an investigation.

The incident is reported to be from Mwana police station area. Ranvir, a Dhikoli resident who works at the Mwana Sugar Mill, was returning home. As soon as he reached the town's powerhouse, the locals guarding him started to dispute him as a thief. After which the guarding locals started beating Ranvir and fled as he was found dead in a state of unconsciousness.

After a while, when Ranvir came to his senses, the badly injured Ranvir reached his house and fell asleep. But after getting up in the morning, Ranvir's condition worsened and he died. After Ranveer's death, the family members of the deceased had registered a case against five persons in the police. Following which the police have taken action and detained 3 persons. While the other two accused are absconding. Police are searching for them.
