With two goals from Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez, Manchester City defeated Burnley and extended Liverpool's wait to win the English Premier League (EPL) football tournament title. The worry for City in this blistering win was the injury to Sergia Aguera who stumbled out of the ground due to right knee pain.

Reports say that this victory, however, ensured that Liverpool would not be able to win the title on Wednesday against Crystal Palace, for which they have been waiting for the last 30 years.

Foden scored goals in the 22nd and 63rd minutes for City, who were second in the table, while Mahrez dominated his team by scoring two goals in two minutes. He converted a penalty in the 45th minute after scoring a field goal in the 43rd minute.
