Mandsaur Gangrape Verdict: Irfan and Asif both convicted get a death penalty

The Special Court has sentenced death penalty to the two convicts in a barbaric gangrape case with a 7-year-old girl in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. Earlier, the court had convicted both Irfan and Asif. The 7-year-old victim had identified the accused Irfan and Asif during the hearing in the special court last month.

On June 26, two youths Irfan and Asif kidnapped the girl from outside the school after school was over when she was waiting for her father outside the school.

The baby was found unconscious in the bushes on the second day in the morning. He was admitted to MY Hospital, Indore in critical condition.

Initially, the condition of the child remained consistently critical in the hospital. Doctors treating the baby had told that the attackers assault the girl's head, face and neck with sharp weapons. Along with this, his private parts had severe injuries. Because of which the girl had undergone many surgeries but she did not lose her courage. The doctor was also surprised by the bravery of the girl.

There was a Demand for immediate hanging to culprits in all the state. The police had arrested both the youths Irfan and Asif after the incident of gang rape and attempt to murder with the girl after the incident. On this inhuman incident, the people of Madhya Pradesh, including Mandsaur, had protested demanding immediate execution of the accused. At the same time, people of Muslim community had expressed their displeasure and recommended that both culprits won’t allow place in a graveyard.
