New Delhi: Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has given a huge responsibility to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia to control corona in the capital. Manish Sisodia will now serve as the nodal minister for the management of COVID-19 and will also hold the responsibility of inter-ministerial coordination till further orders.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has signed an order issued in this regard, according to which Manish Sisodia will now serve as the nodal minister for corona management in the capital and will also hold the responsibility of inter-ministerial coordination till further orders. In an attempt to stop the spread of the infectious virus, the Delhi government has imposed a weekend curfew in view of the severe coronavirus situation in the capital since Friday.
Additionally, all malls, auditoriums, gyms, and spas have been instructed to close until further orders, while cinemas are allowed to operate with their 30 percent capacity. Curfew passes will be issued to those concerned with essential services. People will be prohibited from sitting and eating at restaurants and only home delivery will be allowed. Let us know that on Thursday, 16,699 new cases of Kovid-19 occurred in Delhi, and 112 deaths have occurred due to infection.
