Kolkata: Union Minister of State for Health Dr Bharati Praveen Pawar has accused the Mamata Banerjee government of West Bengal of hiding information regarding dengue. On Friday, in Kolkata, the Union Minister of State for Health alleged that the state was not informing the Center about dengue. However, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) retaliated.

On the other hand, dengue outbreak continues in the state. On Friday, one more person lost his life due to dengue in Kolkata. The name of the deceased youth is Rohit Das. His age was 30. The young man died in a private hospital in South Kolkata. Let us tell you that the number of dengue cases is increasing in the state. The number of deaths has also increased continuously, and although many steps have been taken by the state government as a precaution, but it is taking the form of an epidemic.

Let us tell you that a few days ago, Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari wrote a letter to Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday, highlighting the "failure" of the state government, urging them to send a central delegation to Bengal. The leader of the opposition party has termed the dengue situation as a 'pandemic.' After that letter, there has been a tussle between TMC and the centre. In such a situation, the way the Union Minister of State came to Kolkata and complained of dengue against the state, the BJP's side has become even stronger.
