New Delhi: At a time when the whole world is struggling with the Corona epidemic, people are doing everything to save their lives and their loved ones. Big scientists from all over the world are engaged in efforts to defeat Corona day and night. But even in such a delicate time, the looters who were blinded in the tune of earning immense wealth, are not coming to terms with making fake corona vaccine. This was a surprising revelation when the Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police took action.
The fake corona vaccine seized during this warehousing includes well-known corona vaccine names like Covishield and ZyCoV D. All these facts were confirmed on Wednesday by Amitabh Yash, Additional Director General of Police and Chief IPS Officer of STF of Uttar Pradesh Police while talking to the media. ADG STF said that, 'This may also prove to be the first major case of busting of a base of fake corona vaccine in the country in this manner.'
He said that those who have been arrested are undergoing further lengthy interrogation of the thugs. The gang was doing this heinous act in Varanasi district of UP. When the field unit of STF raided the Thana Lanka area of the district, it came to know about the manufacture/production of fake corona test kits and anti-COVID-19 vaccine. Five thugs rakesh thawani, sandeep sharma, arunesh vishwakarma (all three residents of varanasi), lakshya jawa (resident of new delhi), shamser (resident of ballia, upup) have been arrested in this heinous crime.
