Patna: Many of the ill effects of online games, which have become the medium of timepass for India's large population, are constantly coming to the fore. Through these, sometimes someone gets stuck in online fraud, sometimes they become a victim of cheating by falling into the trap of love. The incident, which came to light recently, is from the Maharajganj district of UP. A married woman living in the Shyamdeorwa police station area of the district fell prey to the love of a PUBG player and went to Bihar from UP to meet him. On the complaint, the police rescued the woman and handed her over to her husband.

According to police, the incident took place at Barhara Baraipar in Maharajganj. A woman who lived here often played PUBG games in her free time. Due to this, she fell in love with a PUBG player living in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. On the night of March 3, the woman suddenly went missing from her house. The husband approached Shyamdeurwa police station and lodged a missing report. According to SHO Anand Gupta, the husband lodged a report on March 4 after the woman went missing.

As soon as the case of the woman's disappearance was registered, the police started looking for her. Investigation revealed that the woman was addicted to playing PUBG. Due to this, she started talking to a young man living in Muzaffarpur in Bihar. The conversation between the two turned into love and the woman ran away from home to meet the boy. On the complaint of the woman's husband, the police rescued her and handed her over to the family members. According to the police, the woman, Sushmita Sarkar and her husband are originally from Bengal and have been living in the Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh for a long time.
