New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki has introduced the 2024 Swift Epic Edition in India, aimed at enhancing the appeal of the base LXi trim with a host of new features and accessories. The new variant has already gained popularity among buyers, despite its slightly higher pricing compared to its predecessors.

Dealerships are offering an accessory pack named Epic Edition specifically for the base LXi trim of the Swift, making it a more attractive option for customers. This move aims to capitalize on the popularity of the Swift by providing additional features and enhancements.

The standard Swift LXi trim already comes equipped with several basic features including central locking, remote locking, all four power windows, auto up/down driver’s window, LED tail lights, projector headlights, rear defogger, 6 airbags, hill assist, ESP, and more.

The 2024 Maruti Swift Epic Edition further enhances the base LXi model with a range of cosmetic and functional upgrades. These include a piano gloss black grille, LED fog lights with an OEM switch on the dashboard, bonnet decals, front quarter panel decals, roof decals, gloss black 14-inch wheel covers, door visors with chrome inserts, chrome lining on the shoulder line, gloss black roof spoiler with chrome insert, chrome door handles, side molding, antenna, ORVM cap with carbon fiber effect, and more.

Inside the cabin, the Epic Edition features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system from Pioneer, four speakers (two from Pioneer and two from JBL), dual-tone leatherette seat covers, leatherette steering cover, floor mats, and additional enhancements.

The introduction of the 2024 Maruti Swift Epic Edition aims to offer customers a more premium experience with enhanced features and styling elements. Whether the added cost is justified by these upgrades will depend on individual preferences and priorities.
