Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for an exciting 2024 with the anticipation of launching a range of new vehicles. The renowned automobile manufacturer is set to introduce a 7-seater iteration of the recently unveiled compact SUV Grand Vitara, alongside the much-awaited Swift Hybrid and Dzire Hybrid models.

The prospective 7-seater version of the Grand Vitara is expected to enter the market, vying for attention among competitors such as the Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari. This expansion of the Grand Vitara lineup aims to cater to consumers seeking larger SUV options within Maruti Suzuki's portfolio.

The Swift Hybrid, Maruti Suzuki's popular hatchback, is also slated for a 2024 debut. Initially showcased at the Tokyo Mobility Show 2023, this hybrid variant is anticipated to retain the essence of the original Swift design while incorporating fresh exterior and interior elements. Boasting a fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain, the new Swift is projected to house a robust 1.2-litre engine capable of delivering an impressive mileage of up to 35 kmpl.

In parallel, Maruti Suzuki plans to unveil the Dzire Hybrid in 2023. This sedan is poised to feature projector LED headlights, LED taillights, and an updated front fascia. Expected to be equipped with a 1.2-litre hybrid engine, the Dzire Hybrid emphasizes fuel efficiency as a key attribute.

Rumors suggest that Maruti Suzuki has its sights set on introducing a hybrid variant for the Grand Vitara, transforming it into a 7-seater model. Presently available only in a five-seater configuration in India, this extension to the Grand Vitara series signifies the brand's commitment to diversifying its SUV offerings. While an exact launch date for the 7-seater Grand Vitara remains undisclosed, reports indicate the company's intentions to broaden its SUV range in response to evolving consumer preferences.

Since its introduction to the Indian market in 2022, the Grand Vitara has been available in six variants – SIGMA, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta Plus, and Alpha Plus, offering diverse options for prospective buyers.

Maruti Suzuki's initiatives to introduce these new models underscore its commitment to innovation and catering to the evolving needs of the Indian automotive market. The forthcoming lineup expansion is expected to add depth to Maruti Suzuki's existing portfolio, offering consumers a wider array of choices within the SUV and hybrid vehicle segments.
