BANGALORE: Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and Twitter, was honoured during a special "puja" here by a group of men's rights activists from the Save Indian Family Federation (SIFF) Organization, who congratulated him for buying the microblogging service "enabling men to express their views against the oppression of government."

On social media, the video of the event that happened in the city's Freedom Park has gone viral.

The Charity said in a tweet on Monday that "past woke admins of the company used to frequently shadow ban men's Activists of SIFF from Twitter."

"The MRAs have regained their right to free expression after Elon Musk sacked them," The "special worshipping" took place in the shadows of a demonstration against Supreme Court PILs on marital rape.

According to the activists' message, "SIFF members in Bengaluru, India are worshipping guru Elon Musk for buying Twitter and enabling men to express their thoughts against the persecution of government."

Men's lives matter and men have a right to a peaceful existence were written on banners carried by the campaigners, which were seen in the film. The group screamed "Elan Muskaya Namaha," "Elon Musk ki Jaia," and "Elon Musk se kuch seekho Adani, Ambani" in front of a photograph of the tech magnate.

Members of SIFF said that laws on rape, domestic abuse, and dowry are skewed towards men and encourage the filing of fabricated charges against them.

"The law is twisted to make fear among men instead of delivering justice to the victims. The members clarified that at the same time they are not against the laws relating to sexual violence in marriage or relationship, they are concerned with the abuse of laws," they added.
