Gurugram: A case of thrashing of a minor by security guards has come to light in Sector-49 of Gurugram, adjacent to the national capital Delhi. On Saturday (October 15), when a 15-year-old teenager was going to see a fair held in the Orchid Petal Society of Sector-49, the security guards posted there together beat up the teenager with sticks. Actually, a fair was organized in this society on the occasion of Diwali. Allegedly, the security guard of the society not only stopped him from going there but also thrashed him.

An FIR has been registered against all the security guards under sections of IPC and Juvenile Justice Act in Sector-50 police station in connection with the beating of the juvenile. This case of beating occurred at the door of the Orchid Petal Society. This matter is around 7:30 pm. This boy lives in the nearby Valley View Estate Society. The boy's mother has filed a case with the police.

Meanwhile, the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) of the society has denied the incident of assault on the teenager. Society's RWA President Parveen Kukreja has said that the 'Pre-Diwali festival was organized in the society. It was just an internal program for the people of the society. No outsider was allowed and no such invitation was sent to outsiders for the event.'
