Rahul Dholakia is directing this biopic on Mithali. Dholakia has done films like Raees, Lamha, etc. Mithali during a Fashion Week event said, "I am very happy that a biopic is being made on my life because it says a lot about the struggle of women cricketers. When I started in the 1990s, at that time the journey was very difficult for a female cricketer."

Many girls want to play cricket, but they never appear on television, because they feel that there is no possibility. This film is their dream. It will open many opportunities."
