Aizawl: According to the Health Department, the state recorded 1,302 new Covid-19 cases and 6 deaths on Thursday taking the state's Covid-19 tally to 1,02,629 and the death toll to 341. The state reported 1,471 cases on Wednesday. The official said that fresh cases were reported from various districts, with Aizawl recording the highest number of 728, followed by Lunglei district (147) and Champhai district (113). The one-day positivity rate was 13.35 per cent, as fresh cases were detected from 9,749 sample tests, he said. Seven patients have travel history and the rest 1,295 were found to be locally infected with the virus, he said.
