Bengaluru: An atmosphere of violence is being created in the capital of Karnataka, Bengaluru on Tuesday night. To control this situation, the police also needed to do firing. Two people lost their lives in the firing. Another person has been admitted to the hospital in an injured condition. More than a hundred policemen, including ACP, have also been injured in this violence in Bangalore. This incident happened in Bangalore's DJ Halli and KG Halli Police Station area. Curfew has been imposed in both areas. Currently Section 144 has been imposed in Bengaluru. This ruckus has happened due to sharing inflammatory posts on social media.

The nephew of Congress MLA Srinivas Murthy shared an allegedly inflammatory post on Facebook but this post was later deleted. Despite this, a large number of miscreants attacked and vandalized the residence of MLA Srinivas Murthy in Bengaluru over the said inflammatory post. A fire was done during this time.

From around 9 o'clock on Tuesday night, the crowd started gathering outside MLA Srinivas Murthy's residence and outside East Bengaluru DJ Halli Police Station. People who reached the figure of dozens attacked the MLA's residence at around nine thirty minutes. By ten o'clock, this uproar had increased so much that a rowdy mob ransacked the MLA's residence. More than three cars parked in the house and outside were set on fire. The MLA's residence was also set on fire. Apart from this, the police station was set on fire.
