NEW DELHI: On the Eleventh day of the Monsoon Session, the Lok Sabha took up the much-awaited discussion on price hike in the presence of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also revoked the suspension of 4 Congress members after seeking assurance from the Opposition that they will not bring placards to the House.
The Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate and other issues once again caused disruptions and opposition sloganeering in the Rajya Sabha, but two bills -- the Weapons of Mass Destruction and their Delivery Systems (Prohibition of Unlawful Activities) Amendment Bill, 2022 and the Indian Antarctic Bill, 2022 -- were still passed despite these issues.

On the twelfth day of the Monsoon Session, the Upper House, which is anticipated to examine rising prices on Tuesday, will also discuss the Wild Life (Protection) Amendment Bill, 2021.
