The management of these mosques has been warned that if this happens again, more strict action will be taken. The move comes in the wake of complaints of loud noise coming from mosques speakers.

Like UP, Uttarakhand also launched a campaign to remove loudspeakers at religious places. In UP, more than 30,000 loudspeakers were removed. While the sound of more than 45 thousand loudspeakers was reduced. The Uttarakhand police administration also launched a campaign regarding this. In Uttarakhand too, the administration had taken action regarding loudspeakers at religious places including the temple mosque. The police administration had removed loudspeakers from religious places to reduce noise pollution. Following the High Court order, a drive to remove illegal loudspeakers was carried out in 13 districts. Like the bulldozer model, a similar campaign of the Yogi Adityanath government in UP gained a lot of popularity.

The Yogi Adityanath government had directed the collectors of all the districts to ensure that there is no loud noise at any religious place. Information was sought from the management committees of all religious places installing loudspeakers. They were told to what decibel intensity the sound could be made.
