New cases of corona infection have increased rapidly in many states. The number of migrant workers being positive is very high. In the presently active corona positive case in Chhattisgarh, there are 84.67 percent migrant workers, who were living in quarantine centres. They have been admitted to hospitals after being found infected during the investigation. The number of active patients in the state is 979, of which 829 are migrant workers. Most of the other active cases also have a trackable history. The rests are medical workers or officer-employees.

Apart from this, out of 12088 patients infected with corona in UP, migrant labourers from other states are 3303 which is 27.32 percent of the total patients. Committees have been made in villages and localities to monitor these migrant workers from other states and they are being quarantined at home. There is a system of getting them admitted in Covid-19 hospitals if the condition worsens. At present, all migrant workers have been monitored. Everyone has also been warned that if they go out during the home quarantine, then action can also be taken under the Pandemic Act.

Out of the nearly 30 lakh migrant workers who have returned from other states to Chattisgarh, 15.13 lakh have been screened. A total of 4507 corona infection cases were reported till June 10 in Jammu and Kashmir. Of these, 1605 included workers, students and other workers returned from other states. About 36 percent of the corona infection spread due to people returned from other states. In Uttarakhand till Thursday afternoon, 1640 cases of corona infection have been registered. In this case, about 95 percent of the cases are of migrants or the people in contact with them.
