Coronavirus affected the sports world to a great extent. Many people are becoming victim of this deadly virus. Atletico Madrid player Moussa Dembele has tested positive for covid-19. 

This comes a day after the club had announced that Joao Felix has tested positive for coronavirus. In a statement, the club said,  "Moussa Dembele has tested positive for COVID-19. The striker is isolating at home, in compliance with the health authorities' guidelines and LaLiga protocols," the club said in a statement.

The club informed that the PCR report showed that the player is tested positive for the virus. The club said, "Our squad underwent PCR tests on Wednesday as recommended by LaLiga, in addition to the first weekly antigen tests outlined in their protocol. The PCR test showed that Moussa Dembele is positive for Covid-19." Earlier, Joao Feliz has tested positive for the deadly virus. The club has said, "Joao Felix has tested positive for COVID-19. The striker is isolating at home, in compliance with the health authorities' guidelines and LaLiga protocols."The club will next take on Celta Vigo in La Liga on February 9.
