Bhopal: The process of filing nominations for the upcoming municipal elections in Madhya Pradesh has begun. Yes, and in this episode, the candidates for the post of mayor of Jabalpur Municipal Corporation along with the candidates for the post of councillors reached on the last day of nomination last Friday with bands and filed their nominations. However, in the meantime, he came to know that his name was missing from the voters' list. As soon as it was discovered, there was disappointment among the workers.

In this regard, Shashi Singh said that she used to live in Shiv Nagar of Cherytal ward earlier and she also has a voter ID card there, but she does not know that her name was deleted from the voters' list. On the other hand, national plaintiff Congress Party leader Rajesh Jaiswal said that the mayoral candidate has a voter ID but his name is not on the voters' list. The party has submitted an application to the collector and other officials in this regard. Despite this, it has not been resolved. At the same time, if the district administration does not solve this problem, then the Nationalist Congress Party will go to court over the entire matter. Let us tell you that in this case, the NATIONALIST Congress leader has alleged that such an incident has been done deliberately with his candidate because the big parties never want their equivalent to have a strong candidate on the field. So that they have to face defeat.

On the other hand, Congress' mayoral candidate Jagat Bahadur Singh and BJP's mayoral candidate Dr. 16 candidates, including Jitendra Jamdar, filed their nomination papers. Let us all tell you that the candidates for the post of councillors announced by the BJP and other parties, including the Congress, for the post of councillors for 79 wards of the city also filed their nomination papers. Yes, and along with these two major parties, other parties and independents also filed their nominations. At the same time, only after the scrutiny of nomination papers and withdrawal of names, it will be decided how many candidates will be present in the fray for mayor and councillors.
