Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA and former State Minister Brijendra Singh Rathore has bid farewell to the world. He passed away at a private hospital last Sunday. Tell all of you that he was 63 years old and infected with corona virus. In this regard, Madhya Pradesh Congress General Secretary Rajiv Singh said, "Party MLA Brijendra Singh Rathore passed away from Prithvipur assembly seat in Niwari district at a private hospital in Bhopal on Sunday evening".

At the same time, he also informed that Brijendra Singh Rathore was infected with corona virus and was treated at a hospital in Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh for the first few days but when the condition became critical, he was airlifted to a private hospital in Bhopal about a week ago. He also said that Brijendra Singh Rathore's health worsened on Sunday morning and he passed away in the evening. He was a five-time MLA. Let me tell all of you that Brijendra Singh Rathore was a senior Congress leader in Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath have condoled the passing away of Brijendra Singh Rathore. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said, "Brijendra Singh Rathore was a true public servant and a good man. He was in favour of healthy and clean politics. His demise is an irreparable loss to the state. I pray to God to give peace to the departed soul and the strength of their families to endure this unbearable sorrow. Apart from him, Madhya Pradesh Congress President and former State Chief Minister Kamal Nath tweeted, "The news of the tragic demise of former Minister Brijendra Singh Rathore is very painful and disturbing. He was very dear to me, a man of easy, simple personality and very loyal and dedicated to the party. His demise is a personal loss to the Congress family and me".
