Bhind: Rain has started showing its mettle in Madhya Pradesh. Some districts are getting drizzled while some districts are receiving heavy rain. Several districts of the state are completely submerged due to heavy rains. According to reports from Bhind, a girl was killed in a kutcha house collapse here. According to information received from the Sheopur district, 50 people have been trapped in the marriage garden due to the rising water level of River Kwari. Rescue and relief operations are going on in both these districts. In addition to these districts, several places including Singrauli, Rewa, and Datia are continuing to receive heavy rain.

All of you that a kutcha house collapsed due to heavy rains in the Daboh area of Bhind. Six people were buried under the debris of the house and 5 injured were evacuated by the rescue team while an 18-year-old girl died. The injured have reportedly been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Lahar. On the other hand, a flood-like situation has also taken over In Sheopur. The doctor colony here is flooded to the waist. People here have been forced to vacate houses. According to reports, people here had been submitting memoranda to the government for drainage for 3 days but no arrangements were made. On the other hand, there is a breach in the big pond of Virpur. Water is leaking from the cemented wall here and people are under stress due to the bursting of ponds.

In fact, the villages, including the five colonies here, are being said to have suffered heavy losses. You all must be aware that this Virpur pond broke down 10-12 years ago. Many houses were washed away at that time also and traffic was stopped due to narrow gauge railway tracks and road cuts. Talking about Datia, the incessant rain since yesterday afternoon worsened the situation in many colonies and mohallas in the city. Many colonies here were completely submerged. The Met department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in several districts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for the next few days.
