BHOPAL: The outcome of Panchayat elections in Madhya Pradesh are out. This time there was a tough fight between Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress. In such a situation, now everyone are on the lookout on the post of District Panchayat President, District President and Deputy Sarpanch.
The State Election Commission has determined to organise a meeting for the election of Deputy Sarpanch, President and Vice President of Janpad and Jila Panchayat. Secretary, State Election Commission Rakesh Singh has informed that the first phase of the election of Deputy Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat will be held on July 24, for the second phase on July 25 and for the third phase on July 26.
LIkewise, the President of Janpad Panchayat and the meeting for the election of the Vice-President will be held on 27 July for the first phase and 28 July for the second phase. The meeting for the election of the President and the Vice-President of the District Panchayat will be held on July 29.
Secretary, State Election Commission Rakesh Singh has also informed that the presiding officer for the election of the President and Vice-Chairman of the District Panchayat will be the Collector. For the election of District Panchayat President, Vice-President and Deputy Sarpanch, the Presiding Officer appointed by the Collector and District Election Officer will conduct the election, as reports.
