Indore: Due to the daily jam on Dewas-Rau bypass, one lakh drivers have now got big news to hear. The first three layer flyover of the state being built by NHM here at a cost of Rs 116 crore has been tendered. Traffic on the Agra-Mumbai route is going to pass through the top lane. The middle lane is for Dewas-Mhow vehicles. For the traffic of towns and villages situated on either side of the bypass, 10 bogs of 30 meters each are being constructed.

The residents of the city are suffering for 10 years due to the lapse in the construction of NH-3 bypass adjoining Indore. 66 thousand drivers coming to Indore from Mhow-Dewas side face daily problems due to small bogs and narrow service road. Along with this, 34 thousand vehicles going to the colonies, marriage gardens, hotels, schools, factories around the bypass are also getting stuck in the jam everyday. The residents of the city will not have to bear this problem for much longer. If everything goes well then the work is going to start in a month. The time line of this three layer project with plyover has been fixed for 2 years. The width of the bogs can increase by 16 times and the height one and a half times. Four bogs are to be constructed near Best Prize and 6 near Labh Mandapam. Service roads and drains on both sides will also be arranged. Along with the street line, traffic signals will also be installed here so that the drivers remain in discipline.

Final design prepared in two months: MP Shankar Lalwani has said about this that it took a lot of effort for two months to prepare the final design of the three-layer flyover to be built on the bypass. Sitting with the engineers in Delhi, the design has been completed, accommodating all possible entries and points in the city. We took special care that as before, this time there should not be even a single error. The entire planning has been done keeping in view the increasing traffic pressure in the coming decades. The project can be started at any time after a month. It is targeted to be completed in two years. With its construction, the traffic reaching Agra-Mumbai, Indore-Harda, Indore-Dewas and Indore-Mhow as well as the residents and commercial establishments of the colonies situated on the bypass is going to be run smoothly.
