Bhind: The problem is going to increase from June 8 for the people and businessmen settled in the Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. However, these problems are meant to diagnose a major problem. The Chambal bridge connecting Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh between Bhind and Etawah is being closed from 12 o'clock on June 8. This ban will be only for heavy vehicles. However, it will remain open for light arms.

Etawah District Magistrate Avneesh Rai said that the bridge built on the Chambal river on the Etawah-Bhind-Gwalior road  of National Highway No. 92 is about 50 years old. Which was damaged in the past. Subsequently, it was repaired and a team was constituted to protect the traffic. In which it was not found safe for heavy vehicles. Due to this, it is being closed to heavy vehicles till the construction of a new bridge. Magistrate Awanish Rai said that the movement of heavy vehicles will be completely banned till the completion of the construction of the parallel new bridge. However, the movement of light vehicles will remain the same. Orders and information have been issued in this regard. 

According to the new route map issued, due to the closure of the bridge, heavy vehicles going from Etawah to Bhind district will go to Bhind via Jalaun or Shikohabad. Apart from this, they have the option to go from Udi Square to Bhind via Chakarnagar Sahason-Phuf. Similarly, vehicles coming from Bhind towards Etawah will also have to do the same. On Saturday, the barring of pillar number 6 of Chambal bridge was damaged. After that, the company was called to the spot after repairs. But due to the traffic going on, repairs could not be done. Because of this, vehicles have been banned.
