Lucknow: Former MLA and mafia Mukhtar Ansari imprisoned in Banda Jail has been sentenced to 10 years in jail under the Gangster Act. Along with this, the court has also imposed a fine of five lakh rupees on Mukhtar. After the sentencing of Mukhtar, an 18-year-old incident related to this mafia came to the fore again, when in 2005, BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai was publicly gunned down. After this incident, there was a phone conversation between Mukhtar Ansari and Mafia Abhay Singh. In its audio, Mukhtar was telling Abhay Singh that he has cut his braid, Jai Shri Ram... is in his fist.
Let us inform that, today i.e. on Saturday, the court of Additional Sessions Judge First Court of Ghazipur Durgesh Kumar has sentenced Mukhtar Ansari to 10 years in jail under the Gangster Act. In this case, the court had completed the arguments on April 1 itself. BSP MP and Mukhtar's brother Afzal Ansari has also been found guilty in this case and has been sentenced to 4 years in jail. Afzal is facing trial for the murder of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai in gangster charge. At the same time, there is also a case of kidnapping and murder against Mukhtar. According to the then IG STF Amitabh Yash, Mukhtar Ansari was imprisoned in Ghazipur Jail at that time. Whereas, Mafia Abhay Singh was lodged in Faizabad Jail. Abhay Singh called Mukhtar. According to Amitabh Yash, there was a conversation between the two regarding the murder of Krishnanand Rai. In which Mukhtar Ansari had said on the phone that 'Choti has been cut, Jai Shri Ram... is on the fist'.
Actually, Mafia Abhay Singh was talking about some land, but Mukhtar overturned the matter and started saying that firing is going on between Munna Bajrangi and Krishnanand Rai. On this Abhay has asked whether it is running from both sides or one sided. On this, Mukhtar had said in a taunting manner that the braid has been cut, Jai Shri Ram... Abhay understands this thing of Mukhtar and hangs up the phone. Actually, Krishnanand Rai used to keep the braid and after killing him, Mukhtar's henchmen had cut his braid.
