Mumbai: Vishwabandhu Rai, general secretary of the Mumbai Congress in Maharashtra, has questioned the behaviour of the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) government. Recently he has also written a letter to Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of the party. He is said to have accused the Congress of ignoring the MVA government.

The Secretary-General of the Mumbai Congress has recently said, 'One year of the MVA Government of Maharashtra is over. During this time the Congress party remains as an ally in the state government. Shiv Sena and NCP are seen in the role of running the government in Maharashtra. Not only this, he has also said in the letter, 'NCP is weakening the Congress party like termites. Congress party ministers are not getting any work of the organization at the grassroots level in Maharashtra government'. Party workers are not aware of the ministers' department along with the general public.

He has also said, 'Our allies are hurting our party by making strategies and are engaged in advancing their party.' In his letter to Sonia, the Congress General Secretary has also said, 'We have failed to stop this. There is no work being done on the promises made by the Congress party to the people of the state. Necessary steps should be taken to prevent migration from the party.'
