Actress Munmun Dutta, who known as Babita ji in the famous TV show 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', has been a part of the buzz these days. In fact, a case has been filed against her under the SC/ST Act in Haryana. According to the information received, the case is about a video of her using the word caste.

After her video surfaced, protests broke out in different parts of the country. As per the information received now, Dalit organisations in Haryana have registered a case against Munmun and demanded strict action against the actress. A FIR has been registered against the actress at Hansi city police station. The actress is said to have been booked under Sections 153A, 295A of IPC and Sections 3(1)(R), 3(1)(S) and 3(1)(U) of the SC/ST Act. All these sections are non-bailable which means that if the police take action and arrest Munmun Dutta, they will not even get bail. The complaint is said to have been lodged by National Alliance for Schedule Class Human Rights convener Rajat Kalsan.

The whole thing started with a video in which Munmun Dutta says about makeup that "I have to come to YouTube and so I have to look good. Not to look like them (caste words). After the same video of him surfaced, there was a demand for her arrest on social media and she was trolled on social media. So far she is getting trolled. Munmun Dutta, however, tweeted an apology. In this tweet, Munmun wrote, "I did not know the exact meaning of the word. That is why they used it. I did not intend to hurt anyone. I apologises to all those whose feelings have been hurt". At the same time, Munmun Dutta expressed regret.
