Tikamgarh: Muslim woman sarpanch Fatima Bano of Pali region has set an example of community unity in the village. She organized a seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha in the Babba temple. Along with this, she also organized a havan and attended it.

In the Gram Panchayat Pali, Muslim woman sarpanch Fatima Bano has set an example of religious unity by organizing Srimat Bhagwat Katha on the seventh day. At the beginning of the Katha, a huge Kalash Yatra was taken out through the whole village, in which Fatima Bano revolved around the entire village by placing Mangal Kalash on the head. He had also read the Bhagwat Katha from the Vidhan Vidhi Vidhan. With this, her husband Salim Khan worshiped the girls. On Wednesday, when the havan was held on the concluding occasion of the story, in which Muslim woman sarpanch Fatima Bano offered prayers at the havan and wished for prosperity in the region. Devotees who reached the 'Bhandara' organized on this occasion received the prasad.

The Muslim woman sarpanch also invited her relatives for this program. Due to this, a large number of relatives of Fatima Bano also reached here. All received the offerings with devotion. This news is proving to be quite historical. Prior to this, his grandmother Zenab Bano was the sarpanch of this gram panchayat and she also performed such religious rituals during his tenure.
