Abu Dhabi: Saudi Arabia, once a role model for Muslims around the world over its strict Islamic rules, has come under fire from its own community due to some actions today. In fact, Halloween, the ghost festival of western countries, is being celebrated in this Islamic country known for its conservative stand. Muslims all over the world are surprised and angry about this and are criticizing this move of Saudi.

Let me tell you that since Mohammed bin Salman became crown prince, there has been some softening in Saudi Arabia's strict rules. It is another matter that till a few years ago, even thinking about such festivals in Saudi Arabia was nothing short of a crime. According to media reports, Saudi Arabia is the same country where the police raided a party in 2018 and arrested many people celebrating Halloween, but now celebrating Halloween in public on the same land is surprising Muslim people. Actually, the Saudi government itself has allowed this program. 'Halloween' was celebrated in many areas of the capital Riyadh. During this time, people roaming in the form of devils and ghosts were seen everywhere on the streets. However, people do not like this decision of the Saudi government.

A Twitter user Tayyab posted the video of the Halloween party on Twitter and wrote, "Halloween in Riyadh (Najad) Saudi Arabia. Allah hu Akbar. Surely the day of Judgment is near.'' A user Ramzan Aizawl tweeted, "These pictures have been taken in Riyadh. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has started allowing Halloween celebrations in Saudi Arabia in the name of 'reformism'. This is not reformism or innovation, but humiliation and collapse. We don't accept it.''
