Convocation ceremony to be held at Mussoorie ITBP Academy today

Dehradun: The convocation was held at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Academy on Saturday. Director General Sanjay Arora attended the passing convocation as chief guest and saluted the parade. On Saturday, 38 assistant fighters joined the mainstream of medical officers ITBP at the convocation of the ITBP Academy. Shobhan Singh Rana, Fighter Administration, ITBP Academy Mussoorie said that a convocation of medical officers was held at the parade ground of ITBP Academy on October 16.

In which 38 medical officers joined the mainstream ITBP, who will be posted for service in all units of ITBP after the convocation. The convocation was held from 9 am. The batch includes seven medical officers from Kerala, six each from Andhra Pradesh and Punjab, three each from Uttarakhand and UP, two each from Haryana and Delhi and 1 each from Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.

In the meantime of the same training, these medical officers were also posted for corona duty at Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre, New Delhi. The officer trainees were awarded citations and emblems by the Director-General for the service. Director General Sanjay Arora reminded the young officers about the glorious history of the ITBP force and high standards of discipline. He said that apart from protecting the high altitude borders in the ITBP soldiers, the force is almighty and omnipresent, whether it is internal security, disaster management or any other duty ITBP have always done the task beyond expectations.
