Namdhari XI, SAI Academy and Army Boys Sports Company registered huge victories over their rivals on the first day of the 2nd Hockey India Junior Men's Academy National Championship here on Wednesday.

In Pool C, Namdhari XI beat Jai Bharat Hockey Academy 12-1 in the first match of the day while SAIL Hockey Academy beat Ghumanhera Riser Academy 4-1 in the second match.

In Pool G matches, Sai Academy beat Hanumangarh's Malwa Hockey Academy 18-2 while Army Boys Sports Company beat Hubli Hockey Academy 19-0. In the last two matches of the day, Naval Tata Hockey Academy, Jamshedpur defeated Bhai Bhelo Hockey Academy Bhagta 10-0 while Vadipatti Raja Hockey Academy beat Berar Hockey Academy Amravati 2-0 in Pool H.
