Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has once again attacked the Congress. He said the Congress has always been reneging on promises and has done the same once again. On the power tariff hike in Karnataka, he said there can be nothing more condemnable than that the real face of the Congress has been exposed as soon as it wins the elections.

The Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka government has implemented the promise of free electricity made before the elections. But if you use more than 200 units of electricity, you will now be billed at an increased rate. If there is a slab of more than 200 units of free electricity, then an additional amount of Rs 2.89 per unit will have to be paid from the month of June. Narottam Mishra has taunted the Congress about this. He said, 'Kasme Vaade Pyaar Wafa Sab Baate Hai Baaton Ka Kya?'. In Karnataka, the Congress used to talk about electricity waiver and increase the bill, nothing can be said to understand the people of the country and there can be no more condemnation than this. Congress has a habit of continuously deceiving the public, cheating the farmers and youth. Even in Madhya Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi had said that he would waive off a loan of Rs 2 lakh in 10 days or else he would change the CM. Neither the loan was waived nor the CM changed.

"The Congress had said in its manifesto that it will reduce the price of diesel and petrol, and did not. The same was the case with the unemployment allowance of the youth. This was kanyadaan marriage. All these things of concern and condemnation are happening with the public and in Karnataka. Electricity prices have increased. He said the Congress makes false promises to win elections and breaks them after coming to power."
