Nashik: A big news has come from Nashik Central Jail in Maharashtra recently. In fact, the hands of the criminals here are now doing something amazing that the discussions are taking place all over social media. Under the information received, the criminal hands are now making adorable idols of eco-friendly Ganesha. In fact, the prisoners of Nashik Road Central Jail have constructed 600-700 such idols of Lord Ganesha. Natural colors are also said to have been used to paint these idols made of clay and dung.

 

 

Yes, and these idols are made by prisoners serving life sentences in jail. The prisoners lodged in Nashik Central Jail have given color to their skills. Now, these idols have been included in a special store in Nashik itself. One cannot believe to see the idols of Ganesha made by the prisoners. In this regard, Jail Superintendent of Police Pramod Wagh says, 'A special store has been inaugurated to sell idols made of 'Shadumati' clay made by the inmates of Nashik Road Central Jail before Ganesh Chaturthi. Here prisoners made 600-700 such eco-friendly Ganpatis every year. All these idols have already been sold in advance before Ganesh Chaturthi.'

He also said that "the purpose of the jail is not only to punish the prisoner but also to improve them.'' In fact, the prison has not punished the prisoner but has improved them.
