Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the National Education Policy will be implemented in Madhya Pradesh from the session 2021-22. Madhya Pradesh will be the first state in the country to implement the National Education Policy.
Minister Dr. Yadav Makhanlal Chaturvedi was addressing the concluding programme of the two-day National Seminar on National Education Policy and Implementation at the National University of Journalism and Communication. The seminar was organised under the joint aegis of Shikshan Mandal Niti Aayog and Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University, Bhopal.
Higher Education Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is moving in a phased manner for the implementation of the National Education Policy. A plan is being prepared for the implementation of the National Education Policy in all the universities of the state. The new education policy is a matter of today, not tomorrow. Minister Dr. Yadav also released the experimental newspaper 'Option' published by journalism students.
The seminar was chaired by Prof. KG Suresh, Vice-Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication. The main speaker on this occasion was Umashankar Pachauri, Distinguished Guest Prof. Mazhar Asif, Prof. Chaitanya Prakash Agrawal, Prof. Pawan Singh, Prof. Rakhi Tiwari and students were present.
