Today is National Handloom Day. It is celebrated every year on 7 August. You all will know that the identity of the handloom and handicrafts committee of Bharatpur (Sidhi) clothes is not limited to the country today but also to foreign countries. Yes, there have been hundreds of women and men here for many years who are showing the workmanship of their hands. He is spending his life through this. You all must know that the Governor of this time, Anandi Ben Patel, has praised her woven clothes. Let us tell you that there are 150 trained women and men weavers in this committee and the year-long turnover here has been close to Rs 49 lakhs in the year 2018-19.

Apart from this, in the year 2019-20, up to about thirty lakh rupees are also being reported. However, since its inception in the year 2005, this committee has been continuously making new names in its name. At the same time, clothes are being sold here in every corner of India. Let me tell you that the dyeing of these clothes is very good and due to this, they remain shiny for many years. A weaver here says that there was such a demand for his handmade clothes that he used to work here day and night. There was a demand for handmade kurta, pajama, shirt, handkerchiefs, hot cakes, carpets all year round. But this year this committee is struggling financially. The economic problem deepened with the closure of work in the Corona period.

Apart from this, he also said that, 'Here the credit limit of the bank of the committee has also been exceeded. The weavers are not getting regular raw material supply from TRIFED due to which weavers are worried. During the Corona period weavers made their livelihood by making masks for three months. However, after the relaxation of lockdown, work is slowly returning to track. Let us also tell you that the members of the committee set up their stalls at the handloom fair organized in Madhya Pradesh's Sidhi, Rewa, Bhopal including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh's Agra, Kanpur and Patna in Bihar and the capital of all the states. By the way, in the year 2007, his clothes were also called America, which is a matter of great pride.
