On Monday, one of the nuns protesting against Kerala sexual harassment accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal said that the title of his autobiography 'Kartavinete Namathil' (in the name of God) also mentions sexual abuse by priests and bishops. The nun further said that it is about life experiences and sexual abuse and persecution of nuns by priests and bishops. A fact that everyone knows but is silent about it.

In her statement the nun stated that she began writing the book between 2004 and 2005, after experiencing mental torture. She further said that I started writing it in 2004-05 because, during the period 2000-03 I had a bitter experience. Because Mandali had to face mental torture. I thought it would be better to keep a record of all that. So at first I started writing very little.

Further describing the incidents of sexual abuse and torture with the sisters, he said that even the leaders of the church, who had supported the sisters, victims of sexual abuse have now started supporting the accused.
