The Indian Foreign Ministry has responded to the remarks made by the United Nations on the violence taking place in the country's capital Delhi. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said in its reply that the comments made on certain sections of media and some individuals are factually incorrect and misleading. There seems to be an aim to politicize this issue. Also, have been advised not to make such irresponsible remarks.

Regarding the matter, the ministry further said in its statement that law enforcement agencies are working to prevent violence and restore normalcy.
