Rainfall is forecast in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh for the next 24 hours. According to Skymet Weather, the private agency that issued the weather forecast, several parts of East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh may receive good rains for the next 24 hours. There is also a chance of hail. During the last 24 hours, there has been moderate rainfall in the southern parts of eastern Madhya Pradesh.

In the last 24 hours, Seoni has received 17 mm of rain while Chindwara has received 8 mm of rain. Betul and Malanjkhand received 2 mm of rain. Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh as well as upper areas of Himachal Pradesh have received light rain and snowfall during the last 24 hours. On the other hand, most parts of Uttarakhand remain dry. According to the skymet meteorologists, the present Western Disturbance (WD) is not strong over the Western Himalayas, hence, no weather activity is expected in the mountains anymore. There is a possibility of very light rain and snowfall in the upper parts of the hills.
