The team of Crime Branch has reached Delhi regarding student Sharijil Imam. Sharjil Imam is in the limelight because of his seditious speech. Sharjeel was evacuated from the second gate due to media crowd at the airport. According to the information, it will be done after lunch and it will be presented in Patiala House Court. Police will seek the remand of Sharjeel from the court for questioning.

According to media reports, JNU student Sharjeel Imam was arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Tuesday from Jehanabad, Bihar. Sharjeel had cut his hair and beard to hide his identity. Late Tuesday evening, the police presented him before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) and took him on a 36-hour transit remand. After getting her medical, she was taken to Patna.
